From Happy Acres to Happily Ever After
Here are just a few of our success stories....

2024
Hilda
Hilda was a long-term resident at the shelter who did not seem to be connecting with people. After less than a week in our foster care, Hilda had found her forever home!

2024
Dottie
Pretty Dottie was found as a stray when she was just a few months old. Within a week of arriving in foster care, she had found her forever family. Foster homes offer puppies a healthier start in life.

2022
Sadie & Pups
Sadie was extremely malnourished when she arrived in foster care with her 9 pups. With the proper love, care and time, Sadie and all of her babies found their forever homes.

2019
Cupcake
Who could resist this little cutie? From a health and socialization standpoints, puppies and kittens get a better start in life when they can be raised in a foster home versus a traditional shelter.

2020
Ubu
Ubu came to us as a pup, and as soon as he was old enough, he was adopted into a loving home.

2009
Millie & Pups
Millie the mastiff was confiscated from a backyard breeder due to cruelty. Just days after being taken to animal control, she had a litter of 9 puppies. Michelle fostered all of them until they were adopted, keeping Lola, the runt, for herself.

2017
Taylor
This sweet girl came into our foster care when she was recovering from a surgery and was soon adopted by a loving family.

2018
Josie
When an upper respiratory virus affected several cats at the shelter, Michelle brought them home and nursed them back to health with TLC and some homemade chicken broth!

2021
Blue
When a traffic stop turned into an arrest, this little passenger was left with no place to go (and was too young to be adopted). After finding safety and stability in his foster home, Blue is happily serving a "life sentence" with Michelle.
